This role is ideal for seasoned IT sales professionals with a proven track record of engaging clients, building strong relationships, and closing high-value deals in technology-driven environments.
As a Managed IT Services Account Executive, you will be at the forefront of Canon’s strategy to strengthen its IT services portfolio. This is a field-based role with significant client-facing responsibilities, offering flexibility to work remotely when not visiting clients. You will collaborate closely with solutions architects, pre-sales engineers, and sales teams to craft customized IT solutions that address client needs and help them optimize operations with Canon’s cutting-edge technology.
Key Responsibilities:
Prospect and identify new opportunities within the IT services sector, engaging with C-level executives and decision-makers to build lasting partnerships.
Collaborate with internal hardware/software sales teams to uncover cross-selling opportunities and maximize client engagement.
Partner with Solutions Architects to design tailored technical proposals that highlight Canon’s IT service capabilities.
Understand client requirements, qualify leads, and deliver persuasive presentations that demonstrate value and differentiation.
Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through closing, ensuring client satisfaction and long-term relationship development.
Maintain an active pipeline of opportunities using Salesforce or similar CRM systems, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting.
Leverage knowledge of IT services including Cyber Security, Network Infrastructure, Cloud Computing, and Workflow Solutions to position Canon as a trusted partner.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years in IT services sales, solutions sales, or similar consultative sales roles.
Strong foundation in business, marketing, computer sciences, or related disciplines.
Ability to translate complex client needs into customized IT solutions.
Strong time management, organizational, and communication skills.
Proficiency with Salesforce CRM (or equivalent), as well as Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Intermediate knowledge in at least one area: Cyber Security, Network Infrastructure, Cloud Computing, or Workflow Solutions.
A proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets while building long-term relationships.
