Description:
Aon is seeking a highly motivated Account Executive to join its Consumer Products Group (CPG), responsible for Affinity Programs in Canada. The position is hybrid, based in either Toronto or Edmonton, and applicants must have legal authorization to work in Canada, as Aon does not offer visa sponsorship.
As an Account Executive, you will play a critical role in delivering client-focused insurance solutions while acting as a key point of contact for Affinity clients. This role combines client servicing, account management, underwriting negotiation, and new business development, making it ideal for professionals with a strong background in commercial insurance and a passion for customer engagement.
Client Management & Advisory
Provide expert insurance guidance tailored to affinity clients’ needs.
Design innovative, cost-effective insurance solutions and review coverage regularly.
Handle inbound client inquiries via the contact center and ensure client satisfaction.
Monitor and maintain service standards aligned with Aon’s high expectations.
Manage existing programs and advise on insurance-related issues.
Operational Delivery
Act as the primary liaison for clients' day-to-day service requirements.
Take full accountability for the quality of service delivery to your assigned clients.
Maintain updated and organized client records, policy documents, and files.
Ensure timely renewals, policy changes, and documentation accuracy.
Negotiate terms and pricing with underwriters to secure favorable outcomes.
Sales & Business Development
Capitalize on new business opportunities using effective retention and growth strategies.
Build and maintain strong client relationships to promote client retention and upselling.
Participate in cross-functional team efforts and contribute to innovative projects across Aon.
Compliance & Administration
Ensure regulatory compliance by maintaining up-to-date provincial licensing.
Process invoices and documents in line with Aon’s standards and internal systems.
Monitor accounts receivable and proactively handle collections.
1–5 years of commercial insurance experience.
Familiarity with specialty lines such as D&O, E&O, Cyber, Pollution, Construction, Marine, Aviation, and/or Public Sector.
Level 1 provincial insurance license is required.
CIP, CAIB, or CRM certification is an asset.
Post-secondary education or equivalent industry experience.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Proven client relationship building and multitasking ability.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
National client service experience is an asset.
Bilingualism (French/English) is a plus.
