York Entrepreneurship Development Institute (YEDI), a globally recognized charitable organization, is looking for a Manager, Academic Programs & Compliance to oversee the operation, growth, and Ministry of Education alignment of its academic diploma programs. This full-time, on-site role is ideal for a highly organized, compliance-oriented academic administrator with a strong background in post-secondary program operations. Reporting to the Director of Academic Affairs, the Manager will act as a critical link between faculty, students, administration, and government stakeholders to ensure smooth academic delivery and ongoing compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Oversight:

  • Manage daily operations of academic programs, ensuring quality delivery and regulatory alignment.

Ministry Compliance:

  • Serve as the primary liaison with the Ontario Ministry of Education.

  • Ensure timely submission of all compliance-related reports and documentation to maintain accreditation status.

Curriculum Coordination:

  • Work collaboratively with instructors to align curriculum with program objectives.

  • Support course updates, academic planning, and scheduling.

Student Enrollment & Records:

  • Oversee the full student lifecycle from application to graduation.

  • Maintain accurate records and address student inquiries and concerns.

Stakeholder Communication:

  • Facilitate communication among students, faculty, and internal departments.

  • Address issues that could affect academic integrity or student satisfaction.

Program Reporting & Development:

  • Prepare academic and compliance reports for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Identify opportunities for program improvement based on performance metrics and stakeholder feedback.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

  • 3–5 years of experience in academic program management, curriculum development, or compliance.

  • Deep understanding of Ontario’s Ministry of Education policies and post-secondary regulatory frameworks.

  • Proven ability to manage multi-stakeholder academic environments.

  • Exceptional organizational, project management, and communication skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in an entrepreneurial environment.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a collaborative work style.
