The Division of Nephrology at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) is seeking a full-time permanent Academic Clinician specializing in paediatric nephrology to join its team. SickKids, a globally recognized paediatric healthcare institution affiliated with the University of Toronto, provides cutting-edge care, research, and education dedicated to children's health.

The division covers all aspects of paediatric nephrology, including a strong fellowship training program, extensive basic and clinical research, and multidisciplinary care. The selected candidate will be expected to contribute actively to clinical, educational, and research activities while providing specialized expertise in dialysis/apheresis and nephrology-rheumatology conditions (e.g., lupus and vasculitis).

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized paediatric nephrology care, focusing on dialysis/apheresis and nephrology-rheumatology diseases.

• Actively participate in clinical, educational, and research programs within the division.

• Contribute to the training and mentorship of medical students, residents, and fellows.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in delivering high-quality patient care.

• Engage in academic and research initiatives aligned with the division's goals.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Medical Degree (MD, MBBS, or equivalent).

• Certification (or eligibility) with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) or equivalent.

• Eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.

• Strong subspecialty training in paediatric nephrology, with several years of clinical experience.

• Demonstrated excellence in teaching and mentoring medical trainees.

• Research background and publications in nephrology or related areas are preferred.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary: $18,949 – $26,817 Monthly ($227,391 – $321,812 Annually)
